COVINGTON — The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking three missing teenage girls who are believed to be runaways.

Destiny Davis and Semetric Caldwell, both age 15, are believed to be together. The girls were reported missing after they did not return home from school Thursday. Their whereabouts were still unknown late Friday afternoon, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

Investigators continue to search for 15-year-old Amani McNeal, who has been missing since Feb. 16 when she left home without permission.

“Amani McNeal may be traveling between the Atlanta and Covington area, however, at the time of this release her whereabouts are unknown,” said NCSO Sgt. Cortney Morrison.

“None of the teens are believed to be in danger at this time, however, it is important that we return these children home safely,” Morrison said. “Investigators are working around the clock in attempts to locate these juveniles and will continue to utilize all resources necessary to find them.”

Anyone with information about any of the missing girls is asked to contact the Newton County Sheriff’s Office at 678-325-1400 or can leave an anonymous tip at 678-625-5007 or online at www.newtonsheriffga.org.
