Preparing for the ice storm

The rain and sleet paused on Tuesday afternoon giving Kevin Wright of Conyers a chance to head to Kroger and stock his pantry with fruit, extra water and even some Ramen noodles. The National Weather Service projected ice to accumulate overnight on Tuesday. Temperatures were not expected to rise above freezing today and the sleet/snow mix could continue until Thursday.
