The Academy of General Dentistry recently announced that Dr. Dexter Inniss, who holds his doctor of medicine in dentistry, and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, received the association’s Fellowship Award during the AGD 2014 Annual Meeting and Exhibitions, which took place in June.
The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. To earn this award, Inniss completed 500 hours of continuing dental education.
As a Fellowship Award recipient, Inniss joins more than 6,400 active AGD Fellows who have gone above and beyond the basic requirements to care for their patients’ oral health.
“We are proud to honor Dr. Inniss for his commitment in reaching this lofty goal,” AGD President W. Carter Brown said in a press release. “He has distinguished himself professionally among his peers and is a role model for both his fellow dentists and the Rockdale community.”
Inniss graduated from Tufts Dental School in 2000 and currently practices dentistry in Conyers. He and his wife Jamie, have three children, Darion, Dexter Jr. and Janae.
