Shopping for some jewels

Newton County resident Polly Johnson traveled to Conyers Thursday to check out the semi-annual Adorn jewelry sale hosted by the Rockdale Medical Center Auxiliary club. Johnson has been coming to the sale for years, and while she selects items for herself, she also likes to shop for her friends as well. The jewelry sale includes bracelets, earrings, necklaces and watches, as well as other items such as phone cases and covers, belts, scarves and a few LED work flash lights. The sale continues through today, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the private dining area of the cafeteria of the hospital which is located at 1412 Milstead Avenue in Conyers. (Staff Photo: Julie Wells)
