Kroger partners with Empty Stocking Fund to provide gifts for local children

Metro Atlanta Kroger stores, in partnership with WSB-TV and the Junior ROTC, have teamed together this holiday season for the annual Empty Stocking Fund “Drive Day.”

On Nov. 2 and Nov. 3, more than 2,500 cadets representing 30 metro Atlanta high schools’ JROTC programs will be on-site at more than 67 Kroger stores to raise awareness and funds for the non-profit organization, the Empty Stocking Fund.

Kroger customer donations to the Empty Stocking Fund will help provide gifts for thousands of children living in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties.

In December – with the monetary donations from Kroger customers and community members – parents and guardians of children from birth to 12 years of age will visit Santa’s Village and select gifts for their children.
