Several new businesses, including a credit service, an accountant office and an insurance agency, have opened at Wall Street, an office park at 2365 Wall Street in Conyers.

Restore a Dream Credit Services has opened in Suite 156-02 and is operated by Marshell Clark. Clark offers educational classes through her partnering nonprofit organization Clark Angels Credit Foundation. The classes are designed to help people better manage their money.

“The downturn in the economy has had an astounding affect on people,” Clark said in a press release. “People lost their jobs, homes, and their credit scores dropped. Our company helps people restore and rebuild their credit, and helps those with low credit scores due to a lack of credit, increase their scores by coaching them on different ways to build new credit.”

Elite Business Group began operations in Suite 156-01, and provides tax preparation and book keeping services for small businesses and individuals.

Sonya Hines, owner of Elite Business Group, has 23 years of experience in accounting and book keeping. She moved from her home office to Wall Street Conyers on Sept. 1 as her eight-year-old company has grown.

An experience with a fraudulent tax preparer motivated Hines to start her business. She decided to learn how to do her own taxes, and to help other prepare their returns as well.

“I want to help educate people so they won’t have to go through what I did,” Hines said in a press release. “I started this business with six clients and from their referrals I now have over 100 clients.”
