Originally inspired by their grandchildren’s excitement about the fall season, Amanda and Kenneth Hall have created a fall display in their yard for the past 10 years. Though the children are grown now, they’ve continued the tradition. “I like fun stuff for Halloween, not scary stuff,” Amanda Hall said. (Staff Photo: Crystal Tatum)

Citizen staff recently focused their lenses on these seasonal images in Newton and Rockdale counties. Light rainfall combined with sunny and warm days and cool nights are leading to vibrant colors in the trees, and fall produces some of the most spectacular sunsets. Lots of fall color is yet to come, so if you have a fall photo you’d like to share, send it to Julie Wells at julie.wells@rockdalecitizen.com and we may post it on our Facebook page.
