COVINGTON — Things will be heating up at Eastside High School on Saturday for the Taste of Eastside.
More than 25 local vendors featuring foods and services will be at Eastside from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. showing attendees what they have to offer.
Some of the local restaurants include Milazzo’s, Baby Cakes, Dunkin Donuts, Bradley’s BBQ and The Village Grille. Other non-food vendors include Mary Kay, Gigi Alterations, Plexus Slim and Newton Federal.
Live music will be playing to add to the festivities from performances by David Clemons, Shane Millwood and Drew Parker.
Games of skill will also add to the event with a two-player team cornhole tournament for a $25 per team registration
with a prize being awarded for first place.
The Taste of Eastside will benefit the Eastside Drama department as well as the Eagles Athletic department.
Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in advance from any Eastside athlete, at the main office of Eastside or they can be bought at the door the day of the event.
