Newton Sheriff's Office hosts 'All About Kids'

This young man and about 130 others came out recently to Newton County Sheriff's Office's child safety event, "All About Kids." The event was part of the "Take 25" campaign, created by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. It encourages parents, guardians, educators, community members and law enforcement to take 25 minutes out of their day to talk to kids about safety. The Sheriff's Office wants to thank the follow contributors to the event: Game Time, Walmart, Kmart, Publix, Ingles and Kroger. Other participants included the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Newton County Fire Service, Covington Fire Department and Hearts for Families. Food was made available by Kona Ice, Mac the Cheese food truck, Jessi Cakes and Johnny's Pizza. - Special photo
