COVINGTON -- The Covington Police Department has issued a BOLO for two individuals believed to be involved with the theft of blank checks from Spires Interior located on the Covington Square.
According to Lt. Paul Dailey sometime between April 14 and April 15, the checks went missing from the store. On April 15, the two suspects shown here paid for $5,000 worth of merchandise with one of the stolen checks at the Snellville Sam's Club on Scenic Highway.
"One of the suspects presented an illegally manufactured Georgia driver's license with a false name and a valid driver's license number belonging to an unsuspecting Atlanta resident," Dailey said.
A cash reward has been established for the identification and apprehension of the two suspects.
