Bard employee honored for her work with new hires

Fran Holland, senior sales administrator at Bard Medical Division in Covington, recently received the prestigious Charles Russell Bard Award, an honor recognizing outstanding character, abilities and achievements. Company leaders praised Holland for her warm-hearted and kind leadership, in a press release provided by Bard.

Holland is instrumental in new hire onboarding and assimilation, and has worked on several teams where she assisted in the areas of marketing, finance, research and development, field sales, training, clinical, regulatory and human resources. The press released emphasized Holland's ability to meet deadlines and budgets.

Holland is also responsible for ensuring that regional vendor shows and meetings are properly funded, which requires her to balance tight timelines while ensuring compliance. This responsibility makes Holland vital to the presentation of Bard's products to clinicians across the country, according to the release.

A Covington resident, Holland is active in the community as a local Boy Scout leader, and has served as a board member for the Georgia Southern University Parents Association, which helps parents better guide their children through the college experience. She also serves as a volunteer at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, where she assists patrons by answering questions about the history of the venue.

As a Charles Russell Bard Award winner, Holland and a guest received an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City. She was also honored at a recent company meeting.
