CONYERS -- The Conyers/Rockdale Chamber of Commerce has announced the three finalists for the 2013 Jerry Barboe Small Business Person of the Year Award.
They are:
-- Dotti Bala of Copy Central
-- Dee Barnes of Evans Tool and Die
-- Scott Hartsell of imijit.net Technology Solutions
The three finalists were chosen from a field of six nominees that also included Stacy Brundage of Literacy Link Learning Center, Ray Ramos of Raymond Engineering -- Georgia and Gregg Starr of the UPS Store on Ga. Highway 212.
The winner of the 2013 Jerry Barboe Small Business Person of the Year Award will be announced Thursday at the Business After Hours event honoring all three finalists. The event will be held at Cameron Hall, 1035 Green St., from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Judge David Irwin will emcee the program.

The award is named for the late Jerry Barboe, a longtime Conyers business owner and community activist.
