MORROW -- The Clayton State University School of Graduate Studies will hold its next informational Open House in July.
It is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, in room 101 of the Harry S. Downs Center on the main campus in Morrow. Individuals are not required to register for this event.
The Open House will give prospective graduate students a chance to learn more about Clayton State's nine graduate programs -- the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies with concentrations in English, Criminology, History, Political Science and Liberal Arts; the Master of Arts in Teaching English; the Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics; the Master of Education with a major in Teacher Leadership; the Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, International Business, and Supply Chain Management; the Master of Health Administration; the Master of Science in Nursing with concentrations in Education and Leadership; the Master of Archival Studies; and the Master of Science in Psychology with concentrations in Applied Developmental and Clinical.

Also on Tuesday, July 9, Clayton State will hold a special Degree Completion Event, "It's Time to Finish Your Dream," with the goal of providing information and on-site services to those in the community who have already earned college credit and are now ready to finish their college degree.
"It's Time to Finish Your Dream" will run continuously between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., on "Main Street" on the second floor of the James M. Baker University Center. Interested individuals can drop in at any time between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., without needing a reservation, to learn more about degree completion.
"It's Time to Finish Your Dream" will feature representatives from eight Clayton State departments, all of which are dedicated to providing information and assisting prospective students.
Services that will be provided to attendees will include Academic Advising's information on Clayton State's 40 different academic undergraduate programs. Also, for the Office of Recruitment & Admissions, individuals who apply at the event will have their $40 application fee waived. The Office of Financial Aid will help attendees complete the online application for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Registrar's Office will provide a quick evaluation of previous college transcripts. The Testing Center will tell students how to earn credit by exam and also about free tutoring and other academic support services from the Center for Academic Success.
Two special student services will also be available for their insight during the event. Career Services will help students explore ways to select the right major and prepare for their careers. Clayton State's Veterans Resource Center will also be on-site to provide camaraderie and support from and for veterans.
