United Bank announced that Lauri Irvin has joined the organization as vice president and card product manager, overseeing debit, credit and prepaid cards.
Irvin has a bachelor's degree of business administration in finance from the University of Georgia. A native of Covington, Irvin resides in Thomaston with her husband, Mark, and two daughters, Ann Margaret and Caroline. She is an active member and Sunday school teacher at Thomaston First United Methodist Church and serves as treasurer of Upson County's Empty Stocking Fund.
United Bank also announced the promotion of Patsy Mitchell to assistant vice president. Mitchell joined United Bank in 2010 as a banking office manager after working with other local community banks.
A lifelong resident of Covington, Mitchell is active in her community as a member of Kiwanis Club of Covington, and as a member of both Newton and Rockdale County's Chambers of Commerce.
