Porterdale Elementary School's Boys To Men group recently collected toiletries as part of a service project about giving back to the community. Representatives of the group and their mentors delivered the boxes to Repairers of the Breach on Old Brown Bridge Road in Covington. Director Shirley Smith is pictured accepting the donations from Brandon Alford, Samuel Coffee, Ameer Wells and Gabriel Clark. Also pictured are school staff, Porterdale Principal Lizzella Dodson, school counselor Evalyne Davis and mentors Wilbert Hill, Ron Bagley and Sterling McGee.
