Covington High Rise resident Marilyn McMullen was walking along Clark Street at a brisk pace Wednesday morning and was bundled up in a colorful hat and scarf against the cold temperatures. Not many people were braving the chilly weather in downtown Covington in the morning hours, but she said she was on her way to keep a doctor's appointment on Adams Street and walking was her only way to get there.
