Newton Special Olympics equestrian team goes to state

The Newton County Special Olympics Equestrian Team recently went to the state competition in Perry. They received a combined total of 30 first-place medals, nine-second place, five third-place, one fourth-place, two fifth-place and one sixth-place at the show. They competed in Equitation, Dressage, Western Riding, Trail, Western Horsemanship, Showmanship and Unified Drill Team classes.
