OXFORD -- Semi-professional basketball is coming to the Williams Gymnasium on the Oxford College of Emory University campus on Monday with a 2:45 p.m. tip-off time.
Oxford College will play host to a game between the Georgia Gwizzlies (3-3) and the Phenix City Bombers (5-3), both members of the American Basketball Association.
The American Basketball Association is a semi-professional men's basketball league founded in 1999. The league has 56 teams scattered throughout the United States.
The Gwizzlies roster includes many athletic and gifted players, including 6-foot-6 Dunnell Webb and 6-foot-8 Rashad Faust, both ABA all-star nominees.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children and students. Oxford College of Emory University students with proper Oxford College ID.
