The Kiwanis Club of Covington donated $500 to the Salvation Army's 2012 Angel Tree program during the Christmas season. In addition, 43 Kiwanians each sponsored a child for the annual program to help needy children during the holidays. The Angel Tree Program is designed to provide everyday necessities, clothing and Christmas gifts to disadvantaged young children.
