Rockdale Medical Center presented the the Red, Hot & Healthy Luncheon, which was open to the public, to celebrate American Heart Month. Dr. Mike Manning and his wife, Linda, showed off attire provided by Belk department store during the luncheon on Friday. Community leaders and medical professionals served as guest waiters for the luncheon and models for a fashion show presented by Belk, and entertainment was provided by Heritage High School vocalist Kylie Humber. Former Rockdale County School Board member and community activist Jean Yontz waited on patrons including Faye Phillips, Barbara Kilpatrick and Aileene Simpson at the luncheon.
