Williams graduates from Auburn University
Zac Williams of Conyers recently graduated from Auburn University, where he earned a doctorate in poultry science. Williams received both a bachelor's and a master's degree from Mississippi State University. He is a 2001 graduate of Rockdale County High School. He is the son of Clay and Gail Williams, both retired teachers from Rockdale County Public Schools, who currently live in Scooba, Miss.
King recognized as UGA Honor Graduate
Kelly Ann King of Covington was recognized at the University of Georgia's December undergraduate commencement ceremonies as a First Honor Graduate. She received a bachelor's degree in biological science from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, graduated summa cum laude and ranked in the top 1 percent of her 1,800-member class.
A First Honor Graduate is a student who has maintained a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average throughout his or her undergraduate studies as well as in all college-level transfer work attempted prior to or following enrollment at the university.
She is the daughter of Hal and Ann King of Covington.Conner graduates from Berry CollegeKat Conner of Oxford has earned a master's degree in secondary education from Berry College.
