Alcovy grapplers win Warhawk Duals

Alcovy’s wrestling team continued show that they’re the team to beat after winning the Warhawk Duals at Veterans High School in Kathleen on Saturday.

Eastside, Newton sweep their opponents in weekend play

It was a successful weekend for most of the Newton County basketball teams as they combined for an overall record of 6-3. Both Eastside and Newton squads swept their opponents while the Alcovy girls split their two game. Unfortunately, the Alcovy boys failed to register a win losing both games.
