The Covington City Council will take action on Monday to establish the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) at the Green Fueling Facility. The original date scheduled to open the facility was April 2014, but now is set for January.

Budget proposal would slash Rockdale HR department

A budget proposal before the Rockdale Board of Commissioners would eliminate all but two positions in the Human Resources Department by outsourcing the wellness program, employee training and other HR functions. The overall reduction in the department would save the county about $424,000 in 2014.
