Ice skating in Conyers extended until Feb. 2

CONYERS — The ice skating rink at the Olde Town Conyers Pavilion will remain in operation through Feb. 2, according to a release from the city of Conyers.

“At the request of rink operators Have An Ice Day Productions and consulting with city leadership, we have granted the extension of the ice skating season in Conyers through Feb. 2,” said Director of Public Relations and Tourism Jennifer Edwards.

This is the 14th year Have An Ice Day Productions has constructed and operated an ice rink in Conyers. The 2013-2014 ice skating season opened on Nov. 15 at the pavilion located at 949 South Main St. and was originally scheduled to operate through Jan. 5.

Hours and dates of operation for the remainder of the ice skating season through 2014 can be found on www.icedays.com<http://www.icedays.com>. The cost to skate is $7 with an additional $2 fee for skate rental.
