The sound of giving

The drizzly rain didn’t stop Kimberly Freeman of Covington from her first day duties as a Salvation Army bell ringer. Freeman said she believes in helping others, and volunteering was a great way to give back. Salvation Army volunteers will be set up with the red kettles at many Covington and Conyers locations such as: Kroger, Walmart and Hobby Lobby. The bell ringers will be ringing their bells for all to hear until Christmas Eve. (Staff photo: Julie Wells)
