“Watch about who you do advertisement with. They rather use tricky in their contracts rather than own up to their ineffective billboard that doesn’t give you what you paying for. They about hiding behind the fine print rather than owning up to being deceitful.”

“As a parent and an educator I am curious to whether Rockdale County actually has policies and plans in place that should be carried out on a daily basis? Policies that are made to be followed by principals throughout the county? Rules and policies that are in place and a stand is taken and the fair and right decision is made. It seems that decisions are made based on favoritism and emotional outbursts and needs. When so much drama is taking place several days in a row, we are not educating children. We are all watching the drama and waiting for the next change to be made and attending to all of the gossip and unhappiness in the building.”

——

“Are there no photography places in Rockdale County? Why does my high school senior have to go to Alpharetta to have her senior pictures taken, or not have her picture in the yearbook.”

——

“I have notice that the Citizen Poll has changed its release date online. Is that permanent?”

“How come when you go to the Rockdale Animal Control’s site they send you to pet finder and there is never any dogs at this site for adoption when you go over there, it’s plenty of them. I hate this. Other places you can go on a county website but not Rockdale. They just pick them up, wait a few days, and we all know what happens. Where are people’s hearts. They say that there is no room, but go yourself and look at the empty pens. They have nothing but concrete floors to lay on and some lady is walking around with a water hose wetting their cages to keep them clean. Why don’t we swap places and let the animals stay at the jails and put the animals in there at the dog pound.”

“Another RYSA tournament this weekend and I see the county has done nothing to require them to provide adequate paved and striped parking as would be required for any other event based business. Cars parked along the road and in people’s yards are a traffic hazard and nuisance. Why does RYSA continue to get a special pass on this? What are the county codes exactly concerning providing parking, let alone handicap spaces and accessibility?”

“I am a teacher and I was wondering when I will get my normal pay back. Does anyone know? I am talking about furloughs gone and back to pay according to how many years I have in.”

“I like Sheriff Levett. I did not vote for him this past election but will on the next one. I am even coming around on Nesbitt if he and Van Ness will get busy with some zoning changes that will be favorable to family-oriented businesses and not some of the seedy stuff I have been seeing lately.”
