Caution: Vampires ahead

A large crane worked on the Covington Square Wednesday morning at Mystic Grill, the fictional cafe featured on the TV show, “The Vampire Diaries,” that is being converted to a real restaurant. Hays Street, the small street that runs between Mystic Grill and the Newton County Historic Courthouse, will be closed until Nov. 16 while construction is underway. The sidewalk directly in front of the restaurant also is closed. (Staff Photo: Michelle Floyd)
