Camp tosses no-hitter in Heritage win

A long lay off didn’t seem to bother Kierra Camp and the Heritage softball team. In her first start of the season, Camp tossed a no-hitter and the Patriots’ offense gave her plenty of support in a 9-0 victory in six innings over Flowery Branch in the Region 8-AAAAA opener for both schools.

The Yankees maintain they had no knowledge of the torn labrum in Rodriguez’s hip which required surgery.
