Karen Alicia Bridges and Brandonn Maureese Washington were married July 21 at Crawfordville Baptist Church in Conyers. The Rev. George Levett officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Malissa Clark of Lithonia and Kevin King of Decatur. She is a graduate of South West DeKalb High School. She is employed with Comcast Cable Company.

The groom is the son of Regina Washington-Martin. He is a graduate of Samuel W. Wolfson High School. He is employed with Snapping Shoals EMC.

Octavia Newkirk served as the matron of honor. Maronda Davis, Melitha Gordon, Jodie Smith, Charne Gibson and Jillian Brewster all served as bridesmaids.

Egenoise Martin served as the best man. Gerome Early, Gary Washington, Damarcus Gibson Sr., Darnell Love and Stephen Whyte all served as groomsmen.

After a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Covington.
