COVINGTON -- A Covington businessman pleaded guilty to child molestation last week after being arrested in 2010.
Charles L. Skrobot, 57, 2167 Raphael St., Covington, who operated Town Center Breads on Church Street and Town Center Breads Cafe in Clark's Grove, was charged in connection with an alleged September 2010 incident involving a 4-year-old relative of the family.
After his arrest in October 2010, he later resigned from his position as a member of the Covington Redevelopment Authority, to which he was appointed in August 2009.
Skrobot is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 4.
He remains in the Newton County Jail.
