Traffic was blocked on Interstate 20 eastbound and Access Road Friday afternoon following an accident involving a 32-foot travel trailer. According to Gordy Wright, spokesman for the Georgia State Patrol, a Toyota pickup was traveling eastbound towing the camper when the driver lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway. The accident occurred at about 1:15 p.m. The camper came to rest on its wheels on the shoulder of the interstate but also was blocking the westbound lane of Access Road. The far right lane of I-20 eastbound was blocked for a few hours, as well as the westbound lane of Access Road. There were no injuries in the incident. -- Staff Photo: Sue Ann Kuhn-Smith
