CONYERS -- Rockdale Fire and Rescue units were called to 792 Haven Ridge Drive Friday morning where three storage buildings had caught fire.
According to public information officer Michael Morris, the small outbuildings were fully involved when firefighters arrived. The fires were quickly extinguished, according to Morris, while another fire engine protected the nearby house. Morris said pinestraw on the ground around the buildings caused the fire to spread toward another house, but firefighters were able to keep the fire contained.
There were no injuries at the scene and no other structures were involved in the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Responding to the fire were four engines along with Squad 8 and Battalion 1. National EMS was also on the scene, while the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office provided traffic control.
