COVINGTON — Eastside’s athletic department is putting taste buds to the test in their Taste of Eastside fund raiser from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Tickets, which can be purchased from any Eastside athlete, are $10 each which allows the individual to sample up to six plates from the approximately 18 restaurants at the event. Each of the participating restaurants will provide 1,000 six-inch plates with a portion of their signature dish.
Some of the restaurants at the Taste of Eastside include Double Dips. Bradley’s BBQ, El Charro. Longhorns, Amici’s, Bullritos, Mama Marias and Panda Express.
All proceeds will go to the individual sports to help defer some of the cost of that sport.
There will also be various vendors showing off their products as well as a silent auction.
Tickets will be sold through Thursday, Nov. 1. For more information contact Eastside High School at (770) 784-2920.
