Audrianna K. McKnight

Army Pvt. Audrianna K. McKnight has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. McKnight is the granddaughter of Sheila Heard of Covington.

Tiffany N. Ward

Army Reserve Pvt. Tiffany N. Ward has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Ward is the niece of Claire Simmons of Houston. She is a 2010 graduate of Newton High School.

Maranda N. Hanaway

Army Pvt. Maranda N. Hanaway has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Hanaway is the daughter of Earnest Kirkpatrick of Conyers and Tamara Cason of Covington. She is a 2010 graduate of Alcovy High School.

Dartavuis R. Latimore

Army Pvt. Dartavuis R. Latimore has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Latimore is the son of Ricky Latimore of Covington.

Stephen A. Truitt

Air Force Airman Stephen A. Truitt graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Truitt is the son of Murray Truitt of Conyers. He is a 2011 graduate of Rockdale County High School.

Denean Hardeman

Army National Guard Pfc. Denean Hardeman has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises. Hardeman is the daughter of Sandra Hardeman of Covington and Bruce Terrell of College Park. She is a 2006 graduate of Newton High School.
