Pamela Barr and Charles Shy were married on Sept. 22 at Under the Stars Banquet Hall in Oxford. Pastor George Hill officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dorothy Wise Loyd and Herbert Loyd of Conyers.

The groom is the son of Lillie Shy and Eddie Lawrence, both of Covington.

ChiaJunna Holden of Norcross served as the bridesmaid.

Charles E. Shy of Social Circle, Jonterrius Barr of Covington and Dadrian Shy of Covington all served as groomsmen.

The couple now resides in Newton County.
