Newton Citizen
Bentley may be the cutest thing on four feet. Just a pup, this black and white terrier appears to be wearing socks. He is believed to be between 12 and 14 weeks old. He was found running loose as was brought to the shelter. He's up-to-date on his shots and likes his chow. He'll probably weigh a maximum of 30 pounds as an adult. He'd make a great addition to any family. He can be rescued and adopted at Rockdale County Animal Care and Control Shelter at 1506 Rockbridge Road in Conyers. At the Rockdale shelter adoption fees for dogs are $30 and $20 for cats. Spaying or neutering is required for adoption. The shelter is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number is 770-278-8403.
Questions to ask before adopting a pet:
-- Can I make a long-term commitment to this pet?
-- Will I be able to spend enough time with a new pet?
-- Am I prepared for the cost a new pet will bring?
-- Which pet is right for my home and my family?
