@Photo CUTLINE:Employees of Curb Specialists out of Conyers dig a trench at Academy Springs Park, preparing to create a granite retaining wall to replace the old cross tie wall. David Elis of Covington is the stonemason who will create the wall. The project is part of ongoing upgrades at the park, that started with new benches and picnic tables built out of oak harvested from the land application facility and put together by volunteers during the "Save The World" day in October, said Planning Director Randy Vinson.
