After a bumpy first collegiate season, Kevin Ware has been a solid contributor for the Louisville basketball team.
The former Rockdale standout is averaging 18 minutes during the Cardinals' 3-0 start as the Big East School remained No. 2 in the Associated Press Top 25. In Louisville's season opener against Manhattan, Ware scored 10 points on a perfect 4-for-4 shooting from the field, and in three games the sophomore is averaging 6.7 points and shooting 67 percent (8-of-12) from the field.
Louisville tries to stay unbeaten when it opens the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament in the Bahamas with tonight's holiday matchup against Northern Iowa at 9:30 p.m.
