LOGANVILLE - In Friday’s season finale at Loganville, Salem reached its season-high in points. Unfortunately for the Conyers school, it also had a season-high in points allowed. Loganville closed the 2012 regular season by blowing out Salem, 56-34 at Red Devil Stadium.
Salem finished the season 2-8 and 1-7 in Region 8-AAAAA, completing a miserable month and a half on a six-game losing streak. During the skid, the Seminoles scored just 72 points while surrendering an average of more than 35 points.
Loganville won its final two games, which included an upset of Gainesville November 2, and finished 4-6 and 3-5 league play.
