A woman was dragged 300 yards in a purse-snatching attempt at Walmart on Industrial Boulevard around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday. Two people have been arrested.

A 30-year-old Newton County man has been found dead in Baldwin County with multiple gunshot wounds.
