COVINGTON — The subject of a statewide Mattie's call, Jack McCarty, 72, was found unharmed on Monday in Waycross, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Office.
NCSO investigators had discovered that the missing man was spotted at the Kroger store on Salem Road early Saturday morning. He originally was reported missing late Friday.
