CONYERS -- The Heritage boys golf team shot a 481 while the Heritage girls beat Salem by 16 strokes to win the Conyers Cup in a three-day, nine-hole tournament.
Heritage's Hunter Elliott was the low medalist for the tournament averaging 36 strokes per day for a total of 108.
Following Elliott for the Heritage boys were Trent Winter (121), Reed Lewis (125) with Aaron Kenny and Davansh Acharza each shooting a 130.
Playing for the Heritage girls are Karley Wilson, Meagan Fernandez, Sydni Moore, Ilah Wideman, Kelsey McCarty, Leslie Abbott, Taylor Howard and Morgan Stark.
"We are a very young team (three freshman, three sophomores and one junior)," said Heritage head girls coach Chris Pack. "Our girls are working very hard and we are excited about our team and the future."
The tournament started at Cherokee Run Golf Club on Monday before moving to Honey Creek Golf and Country Club on Tuesday and closing out the final day at Highlands Golf Club on Wednesday.
