Savannah Last weekend, C.J. Wilson and Dedrick Turner each provided one more memory in a junior season full of highlights. The the North junior all-star basketball team lost, 127-100 to the South all stars Saturday at Armstrong Atlantic State University, Rockdale's Wilson scored 15 points and Salem's Turner, 11.
"It was great. It was a real highlight to their season," said Salem coach Darren Wilkins, who was on the north staff. "It was great because once you got there and saw the talent level of all the players, it was amazing."
Both Wilson, the Region 8-AAAA player of the year, who helped the Bulldogs get to the second round of the Class AAAA state playoffs, and Turner, an all-Region 8 honoree who led the Seminoles to the state playoffs for the second consecutive year, are undecided on their college plans.
