Staff photo by Sue Ann Kuhn Smith Newton County resident Henry Smiley, who retired from the postal service after 42 years, keeps up his exercise by walking his dog Mylo at the Turner Lake Complex. Mylo, a 3-year-old rescued terrier, looks like he's considering a swim as he gazes longingly at the ducks on the lake. Smiley said he and Milo walk everyday, rain, sleet or snow, a mantra he learned from his days at the post office.
