The St. Pius Parish Council of Catholic Women presented donations to three local charities at their monthly meeting on May 14. Pictured here are, from left, Barbara Pepe, president of the St. Pius Parish of Catholic Women; Kay Goff, with the Hope Boutique; Kathy Pusch, with Family Promise of NewRoc; Katy Tiller, St. Vincent de Paul Society; and Dorothy Schath, treasurer of the St. Pius Parish Council of Catholic Women. Checks were presented to Kay Goff for the Hope Boutique of Newton Medical Center supporting women's breast cancer needs; Kathy Pusch for Family Promise of NewRoc helping homeless families; and Katy Tiller for St. Vincent de Paul Society caring for people in need. The St. Pius Parish Council of Catholic Women earned the funds from three bake sales and from their annual Advent by Candlelight Event.
