Mr. Bill Shelton of McDonough and Ms. Chris Shelton of McDonough announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Leigh Shelton of McDonough, to Robert Coley Housworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Debora Housworth of Conyers.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jack Daniel of McDonough and the late Christine Daniel and Marian Shelton of Leeds, Ala. She is a graduate of Georgia College and State University. She is employed with Rockdale County Public Schools.
The future groom is employed with Rockdale County Public Schools.
The couple plans to wed Oct. 7.
