CONYERS -- Rockdale County Fire and Rescue extinguished a vehicle fire Wednesday morning at an Interstate 20 entrance ramp on West Avenue.
According RCFR spokesperson Sharon Webb, the fire occurred at the east bound I-20 ramp and West Avenue and involved a Mazda minivan being towed by a pickup truck. She said the minivan was fully involved when firefighters arrived at the scene. Two engines and a rescue truck responded and extinguished the fire.
The Mazda was a total loss with no damage to the pickup truck. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is undetermined, Webb said.
