Wendy Harrington, artist and gallery member at Southern Heartland Arts Gallery put out the Open sign this wet Monday morning. Harrington is an acrylic painter who has been with Southern Heartland Gallery for the last two weeks. Monday is her shift as SHG is a co- op operation. Monday 11-4, Tues-Fri 10-5 and Sats. 10-3 The mission statement is "To provide, encourage and support involvement in the visual arts toward the goal of enriching the cultural life of area residents through intstruction, eductional scholarship and exhibition of fine art."
