CONYERS -- The public is invited to a viewing party of President Barack Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday that will be hosted by Rockdale and Newton County Democrats.
The viewing party will be begin at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Conyers Ruby Tuesdays restaurant, located at 1714 Ga. Highway 138 S.E. Obama's address to Congress is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Young Democrats of Rockdale County, Georgia Federation of Democratic Women, Rockdale/Newton Chapter, and the Rockdale County Democratic Party
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, so RSVP is requested by Monday, Jan. 23. To RSVP, go to the watch party link at www.barackobama.com.
