ATLANTA -- The Center for an Educated Georgia and several other advocacy groups will participate in a School Choice Rally in conjunction with National School Choice Week.
It is scheduled for 10 a.m. Jan. 25 at the Georgia State Capital on Washington Street.
Jan. 23 through 27 is National School Choice Week, and the Center for an Educated Georgia, in conjunction with several other advocacy groups, will celebrate with a rally.
Parents, students, teachers, administrators and education advocates will be on hand to show their support for school choice options. More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend.
Speakers include Senator Chip Rogers, Representative Alisha Thomas Morgan, parents and teachers of students who have benefitted from school choice. Attendees will be treated to performances by the KIPP Ways Marching Band and the Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Choir.
